May 1st - May Day Celebration to welcome lovely May!
1:30 - 3pm at Wright Park - between the pond and the playground. Singing, dancing, May Pole dance, flower-crown making All ages. Free. May 13 and 14 we'll run auditions for this year's Christmas Revels production.
Find all information about the rehearsal and performance schedule and auditions here. This year we’ll set the celebration in Mexico in the 1890s. We'll immerse our audience in the lively sounds and the vibrant colors of Mexico and include charming - sometimes hilarious - folk tales. |
June will include a Revels participation in Ocean Fest and a double celebration - Summer Solstice and Juneteenth
We had virtual celebrations in 2020 and 2021. We hope we'll have in-person events this year. Stay tuned.

Dancing with antlers!
People who come to The Christmas Revels are fascinated (or mystified!) by the Abbots Bromley Horn Dance. So, just for fun, we hold a Bromliad. Come learn the dance. Bring your own antlers (branches can make pretty good antlers – or hands). Or just bring a picnic and watch. We’ll also play some games, sing a few rounds, and have an art project with Mauricio Robalino for children to do. FUN! |
September 22 Tacoma Sings
6:30 - 7:30pm | Chihuly Bridge of Glass
Singing on the Bridge of Glass to sing-out summer and sing-in autumn. We’ll distribute song sheets and encourage everyone to join in. After singing at various places on the bridge, we'll wrap up with a few lovely rounds in the amphitheater beside the History Museum. Bring a lantern. We’ll light them as the sun sets. Beautiful.
