Our Truths Gallery
FROM PAST "OUR TRUTHS" EVENTS:
Since October, 2020, Puget Sound Revels has presented three Our Truths evenings (all produced and curated by Michelle Matlock).
Our goal has been to set up a space for sharing that has the potential to change or deepen how we know and see each other. We invited attendees to think of themselves less as audience members and more as privileged listeners whose job was to listen generously and without preconceptions.
Our singers, poets, dancers, storytellers have all shared their own stories and perspectives. Each is the expert of their own story. Revels is grateful to our story-sharers and our listeners.
Here’s to truth and courage and sharing and listening and creativity and the power of the arts to deepen our understanding of each other, to reveal how rich our community is and how precious each person is.
