The Christmas Revels
A mid-winter Celebration of the
Winter Solstice. December 14 – 18 Rialto Theater, Tacoma This year we celebrate the season with the colorful folk stories, stunning harmonies, lively dances, resplendent costumes, and intriguing traditions from the Balkan Peninsula. Singing. Dancing. Storytelling. Beauty. Mystery. Hilarity. Expect a comical Mummers Play and silly business inspired by the trickster tales of Hitar Petar, Nasrudin, and the Wise Men of Chelm. This lively concoction of folk traditions is a celebration for all ages. You’ll be dancing in the aisles. Really!
