Here are a few tips to prepare for your visit.

The Rialto Theater is a beautiful performance space that has been an active theater since 1918.  Due to the age of the building, there are some challenges for those who have mobility issues.  There is an ADA accessible bathroom in the lobby and a section for wheelchairs in the theater.  There are no speakers to amplify sound so if you have hearing loss, you might be more successful sitting closer to the stage. We do have an ASL interpreted performance.  Please feel free to reach out to the box office for any accommodations that would make your visit more comfortable. Lobby staff and ushers are available to support you. 

Bag Check Policy
It is the policy of our theaters to do a bag check, so please plan ahead and arrive 30 minutes before curtain, so you have time to move through the line. 

Nearby Parking Garages and Lots:
908 Market St. Lot: A 1-minute walk from the theater, available to reserve via SpotHero. 
760 Market St. Lot: A 1-minute walk, also available through SpotHero. 
110 S 10th St. Tacoma Parking Garage: A 6-minute walk, with a daily rate of $5.99
and spots available to reserve through SpotHero. 
Park Plaza North Garage: Located at 923 Commerce St., with an entrance between 9th and 11th. You can pay with the Flowbird app or at a kiosk, and it connects to Broadway via a pedestrian skybridge. 
Republic Parking Lot: Located at 916 Broadway. 
There is street parking throughout the Theater District.  Please note payment signs and times.  

Show Running Time: The approximate running time is 2 hours with a 20-minute intermission.

Concessions are on sale in the lobby as well as Puget Sound Revels merchandise.

What to expect?
The Midwinter Revels is a holiday show featuring a different culture, era, and many traditions each year. The story is woven together with carols, dance, and story.  Audience members will be invited to sing along and even dance along! If you plan to bring children, we have found that ages 5 and up are more successful - but you know your children, and we will leave it to your discretion.
