Edi Beo Thu Hevene Quene
1. Blessed be you, heav'nly queen,
the people's comfort and angels' bliss.
Mother immaculate, maiden clean
such as in the world no other is.
In you it is easily seen:
Of all the women you lead the list.
Sweet Lady hear my prayers and dreams
and pity a soul who would your feet kiss.
2. You ascend like the ray of dawn
which separates from the dark of night;
from you a new ray has gone that lit
this world with all it's light.
Next to you each maid is wan;
So fair, so lovely so fresh, so bright.
Sweet Lady have compassion on the soul
who begs, your truest knight.
3. Mother with all noble ways,
o maid so patient and perfectly taught.
I am bound in love always;
you are my desire, my only thought.
shielding me from the devil's gaze,
as you are noble your kindness you wrought,
and help me so for all my days.
In God's name help me do as I ought.
